The village of Barlborough has a wonderful Heritage Centre that hosts Free Exhibitions each month. For the month of Noverber 2012 the topic is Barlborough Remembers its War Heroes it is aiming to put faces to all the men listed on the War Memorials plus put on a display of actual newspaper cuttings as the local families were informed of the missing, wounded, captued, commemorated and fallen. A Great place for family research. Acces to all their archives is free. They have monumental inscriptions, copies of wills a huge photo archive etc etc |
