The entry is confusing since the initials are given as DWF, although since it is listed alphabetically by the first initial, it seems that this should be interpreted as D., W.F. |

Welcome to the Durose/Durows family research. My husband's mother was also a Durose and as you say the originated from France and probably Brittany. There is Durose family gathering each year in Staffordshire and this web site results for the group and may be of use. Difference in spelling of the name was common and they can be a nightmare to trace, but I will have a look |
