National Library of Scotland have the old O.S. maps which are excellent for this sort of thing. I guess there's an equivalent in England / Wales...The British Library maybe? Google maps are searchable by streets which still exist - often not the case. |

That's fine - I just wondered if the 6 could be a 'B' and and therefore the 'o' is showing as small letter making it a 3 as the house number. Just a thought |

Orchard St and New Peter St (Grroms address) are next on from each other near Oxford St, so Id say thats the correct address |
