It is highly likely that Lloyd Burpee Armstrong returned to Canada as any references on the internet state that he was born in Nova Scotia Canada.

Perhaps if you started your heading of this thread with something like "Canadian Help needed" you may attract the interest of the many Canadian members on Genes. Well, its worth a try, anyway!! :-)

Would appear to be that Lloyd Burpee Armstrong returned to Canada and married a Winnifred Carter at some point

This could be your Lloyd, Age, occupation, intending to reside in Canada and leaving the following year after a son was born in 1953.

DetEcTive, I agree that the marriage between JohnB Armstrong and Elizabeth Cowan and Son Lloyd B Armstrong is highly unlikely to be connected to Lloyd Burpee Armstrong in view of your information re his death in 1944. :-)

with reference to the 1946 marriage, I believe that there were 2 children born to this couple and have sent details to Sumaya via pm.

I have been looking for my husbands dad , Lloyd Burpee Armstrong. I am obviously rubbish at this type of thing. But for many yrs i have found nothing. Lloyd had a child with Winifred may Cranford. Any help would soooo be welcome. Thanks in advance ;-) :-(
