Middlemore Road was as put above 1881 - in reg. district of Kings Norton, sub-district Harborne, no mention of Smethwick. |

Can i confirm that Maryleborne road and Middlemore road, is actually Smethwick, which at that time was Kingsnorton parish of Harborne. |

I think you mean Bissel Street. What is left of Bissel Street is just off the Hagley Road. The district will be Quinton or Edbaston, prob. Edgbaston. |

My gt grandmother was born in Bessel Street Birmingham in 1870 but I cannot find her or any of her family on the 1871 census. Someone suggested I look up the address but I don't know how to do it. |
