Just an update, if some of your family members still are blanked out, give specific details to GR, here is what they said to me: |

Don't know. I wonder if you search for the neighbors and then click next onto your family's record, will it be uncovered? |

Alison, is it possible that the records of your family which you have looked at before are accessed from a cache? When you get a record displayed with a blanked out section, try a refresh (F5 or use the refresh icon). |

I suppose that is the same feature that meant some people saw smilies with the santa hat on and others didn't. |

That is inconsistency - one says cookies, another says you can see it. |

BradM | Report | 17 Jan 2012 07:33 |
How do you delete cookies? |

Whether or not cookies are deleted etc, there is inconsistency in advice being given which can be confusing. |

Thanks for the reply's....i have deleted cookies 3 times now, following the step by step instructions, and the colum is still covered up!! i will just have to wait until GR do this release thing mentioned above and they refresh the images :-( |

That is very frustrating for you, Alison. Especially as, having just looked again for the 1911 image that I bought with the 30 credits given by genes reunited, I can see the image again with the infirmity column unblocked - perhaps you would like to tell them that? |

It is joy, i will give it till the end of the week, as they say they are going to do a release and refresh the images this week, and if still covered i will email them. |

Thanks for all the replies, I will e - mail GR now and tell you all what they say when they reply. I hate to keep going on at them but this is not what I pay each year for. |

Did you tell them (from me) "having just looked again for the 1911 image that I bought with the 30 credits given by genes reunited, I can see the image again with the infirmity column unblocked" and that others have seen the column. |
