Ive had problems since lunchtime, its always the same when they give free access to some of their records, those of us who pay have to suffer.

They seem to have made some changes in the last couple of days

Was logged in but now out of the site

Thanks, DetEcTive will keep a note of the number....when I've had to phone them in the past I was able to access the site to get the number.

None of the hints have been working for a couple of days. Received an email with some new hints on my tree but I kept getting an error message when I tried to access the hint.

I was trying to use the .com.au site.

Got a message yesterday to say that the hints function was temporarily unavailable.
Had problems all afternoon with the site.
I assumed, like everyone else, that it was overworked due to the free access offer.
As you say, very unfair on those of us who pay for membership.
Last month, I paid my renewal of €125 & have had problems ever since.
Invariably have to log in twice.
Guess what, it´s my browser according to Ancestry.
Are they taking a leaf out of Genes book???

Perhaps it is paying with a dodgy currency that means you get a dodgy service. :-)

Have been paying with the same currency for the past 5 years, so doubt that´s the problem.
The only problem I have with it is that my sterling pension buys less & less Euros every month.

I have come on here to find out if anyone else was having problems with Ancestry. I can't access the records, only my trees.
