EDIT, Just received Maria's baptism and Marys marriage to Jonathan in 1863 from a kind lady. Many thanks to people who have helped me with this, I didnt think it was 'solveable'. Good luck to everyone. xxx

I think thats her marriage thanks Jan but when I ordered the cert I was refunded as the cert 'doesnt exist'. So am no nearer. :-S

Just received birth cert today, no father listed for Annie (Ann Mary). Nothing else given away but at least I know. Zombie, I would be so grateful if you could do a quick look up for a possible baptism for Ann/Annie Pooley in Arnold, Nottingham, if you have some spare time? She was born 21/04/1862 to single mother Maria Pooley. Or a marriage for Maria Pooley in Dec quarter 1863. (Been told Jonathan's wife on the 1871 was a different Maria, although Im dubious as Annie is living there too as Annie Yates. The mind boggles.) Not sure if I should PM you or not. But anything would be wonderful.

K, you are a genius. I hadnt realised I had these last 2 messages, thankyou so much. Have received Annie's marriage cert, her father was Jonathan Yates! So it must be her as Ann Mary Yates on the census, same age. The Pooley birth cert confuses me but Im making tracks in a slow fashion, thankyou for your ideas!!
