There is a baptism for a William Lamb on 19/01/1870 at Holy Trinity church, Coventry, his parents were John and Charlotte.

Can't be 100% sure it is your great grand father William

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

Hi Rowena, i see you have started a tree on Ancestry. If you type in the details for Rose Hannah Borton, you will see that another member (John Butcher) has the Borton family in his tree. Happy Researching.........PH.
