Hi I wonder whether anyone would have any idea how I would go about tracing my Great Aunt. I only know her married name, and I remember as a kid calling her Aunty Tania although this could be Titania. My Great Uncle was Robert William Scholefield. I have found him on some crew records where he was aboard the SS Taransay. I know that he sailed to Russia on a regular basis and he and my Great Aunt who was a "White Russian" married in Odessa. I have no idea when they married. I have checked the immigration records but have not found her - not even her death. I would be grateful for any ideas of how I fathom this one out. |
