James Watt was on your 1861 census of the Vessel that Darling was on as well that - was a recollection I had rather than a connection.
I thought the same as you about the Oxford connection though.
I'm still drawn towards the Adare, Limerick connection somehow.

Thanks for that. I have the Certificate of this vessel also but no definite connection with my Darling. This was one of the peices that the genealogist found along with another Henry which threw up all these questions.
