I've been to the Sustainability Centre to visit a burial plot and the man in the Office is very knowledgeable and very helpful. |

All residential homes are registered by The Care Quality Commission, who also inspect the running of those homes. The death of a vulnerable person within a residential home would be notified to them by the care home in question ( it is a legal requirement ), so I would contact the commission to find out if they have further details. Even if the home has subsequently closed, they should still hold information which would be useful to you. Good luck |

If he died in a care home I'd be very surprised if no one from the home attended his funeral. Every funeral I have been to where the deceased died in a home there has been at least one member of staff from the home at the funeral as a mark of respect. |

I don't think it will make much difference Colin. I might have to search every churchyard records at the Record Office........ |
