So the Star is indicating who are the Advisors.

Yes, the Help Clinic has just gone live. Jan, seems you are an advisor too (that's what the star means).

All the other message boards are still operating in the same way. Only the new Help Clinic is an additional feature.

I am, I confess - well, I thought it the best way to see what's going on. It seems very peculiar to me, not sure it changes anything? Which is fine by me, but not sure what's in it for Genes.

Just noticed this on the Help Clinic;

"Genes Advisors are not employees of Genes Reunited, they are members recognised by us for their effort and knowledge when helping other members."

Makes me feel that when "us" other helpers help out that we are going to sound as if we know what we're going on about to new members!

As I say, failing to see the point of this really. Help clinic link:

Big Tab top left - not on my screen :-(

I see the icon next to each thread has change and now gives an indication if there have been new posts since you last looked at it. Quite useful on the My Threads - sorry My Thread Participation :-) - so you don't have to remember who or when last psoted on a thread you had input to.
Maybe (just maybe) the technology behind these boards is being brought more up-to-date .

Seeing how many viewed would be good.

Also, interesting to note that posts in the new Help Clinic don't seem to have a reply button (at least not for us non-stars). Probably means that queries posted there will get LESS responses.
Bet they don't publicise that one!!

It is visible on Firefox and on IE. Under the word Community.
