Member Since: July 2004 Posts: 1,401 Send Message	Hi It looks like I have found a breakthrough with a female ancestor who seemed to vanish after her husband died in bethnal Green, London in 1798. Susanna Fradin was born in 1765 in Spitalfields, London. She wed Dennis Helsdon in 1784 in Stepney, London. They had 7 children, the eldest Elizabeth born 15 July 1784 being my direct ancestor. Sarah Susanna born 10 September 1785, Joshua born 1788, Susanna born Feb 1791, Mary Ann born 1793, Hannah born 1795 and George Dennis born 1797. Mary, Hannah and Joshua died as infants. Dennis Helsdon died in 1798 when George was a baby. Elizabeth Helsdon wed John Auber in 1806, Sarah Susanna wed in April 1805 in St martin, London and Susanna never married. The youngest, George Dennis Helsdon wed in August 1817 in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire to Martha Munns. They later returned to London. But a Susanna Helsdon wed in December 1814 in Burton Latimer to Samuel Hollowell. A lookup from the Northamptonshire Marriage Index says Susanna was a widow. I just need to look at the originals to get the witness names and the signature of Susan as she signed when she wed in 1784 plus the witnesses of George's wedding in 1817. And a burial for Susanna Hollowell. Ben
