Yes that`s the census.
Edric is my great-grandad and we didn`t even know they cae from Sheffield as we all live in Wigan..
I was wondering if perhaps Edric had lost his parents and they were living with relatives. Just wondered if the term `boarder` had a different meaning back then.

A boarder is someone who pays for their meals and lodgings in someone else's house. If all the occupants of the house had the surname Wraith then the boarders could have been more distant relatives rather than immediate family - more than likely brothers of the head of house.

Hi,
i a searching for Wraith and have found my relative in Sheffield. On the `relationship to head of house it states `boarder` though they are all `Wraith` in the house.
What would this mean?
