the 1901 census gives him as 3 years old this arthur james that emigrated 1908 was 20 -22
my god i must get my act together
but i cant trace him in other censuses or marr or deaths a mystery

that could have been him that emigrated in 1908 about 20 years old
he cannot be found after 1901 census or marr /deaths i the uk ??

I haven't found the family on the 1911 yet...

No David, but I found that passenger list for the Geelong and the year of

birth says 1885 and the birthplace doesn't look like London either?

So you don't have the family on the 1911 Census?
