This site is lethal! I logged in to it two hours ago!! and had to drag myself away at 1p.m. Make sure you have a lot of time to browse , it is so comprehensive and interesting, I may not leave the house tomorrow!

I live in New Zealand and have found it wonderful to be able to access these free Newspapers
and have had a good laugh and cried a bit as I found newspaper accounts of 2 of my husbands Scandalous 4x great aunts. Who lived in London. And read the sad accounts of the finding of my great great grandfather who fell down the stairs of his home in Lancashire and was not discovered for 14 days.
I am so glad Jonesey that you put this thread up.

Hi. sorry for the late update, I did put an update on another thread regarding joseph Callon. which was to do with his father, but just to let you know, I went to A2A on line and found the filiation order for Joseph Callon To his father James Crank and he had a certain amount to pay each week to the administrators of the poor, I sent for a copy of the original document which was sent to me for the cost of £5, well worth it.
So it is worth pursueing.
