	Roger this is a bit of guess work as i cannot find edmund prior to 1881. Edmund could of been born before his mother married & when he married then took on his birth name. 	I think you're dead right, Richard. I've seen it happen many times before where a child takes the stepfather's name but then uses his legal name at marriage. Wonder if Thomas Boon was the father? If so why didn't they marry sooner? They married just weeks after Edmund was christened.
