Two minds with but a single thought Cynthia. I've just PMd her.
Glad you enjoyed your outing. Old crone! is that a clue?:-)) Not the truth surely.
I was hoping to see Robert to give him a hug to apologise for my silly little jest the other day. Is he back in his shell again do you think?
Jeanie xx
Well I don't know. You try to make sure someone isn't missing out and what do you get for your pains? Accusations of harassment and being told they are ******* working!! :-)))

Hi, just popped out for a while to see my family. Very nice it was too. Would you believe that both of my children bought the same card!!! It was a humorous one - so either they share the same sense of humour of it was just very apt for me!
All that travelling, especially across the channel, have turned me into an old crone - goodness knows what I will be next.
Frank may well be away enjoying the baby shower bless him. I do hope it doesn't deter Robert from saying hello.
Hopefully we may all be around later this evening to see who we have guessed who we are.
The food that has arrived so far looks simply luscious - I think we are permitted a little tasting session as the evening draws in.
Must go and see if FBG is available.

As I have brought my easel and paints with me I think I shall paint a picture of these wonderful goodies. What a helpful taxi driver you sent to pick me up Cynthia, thank you, he was so kind to me, he said I reminded him of his mother. This Mantovani disc is wonderful such restful music, thought those in the quiet room would appreciate it. What a shame that our Wayne hasnt turned up maybe he will pop in later, we do miss him dont we?. Byeeeee again Evelyn

Wish I could indulge in some of those calorific goodies. I'm getting so thin if I stand sideways I disappear.
Little light goes on in head Susan - but dear me cannot bring the name to mind. Dash it.
Bit more shut-eye needed - then maybe brain will work properly!
x
Edit: I see from later post I must have been wrong if his name is Michel. Think I may have done better this time. I'm pretty sure we have had a visit from someone who shares the name of my youngest granddaughter - Kiwibird.

Hi Again still awake
My spelling is getting bad it is Write ,must of had a mind blank it does happen now and then.
My male person is so good at telling you what is going to happen in the future, and he died in 1599.
This wine is going down a treat and the spring rolls (my favorite) . I am going to finish off with a Lamington cut in half and filled with fresh cream.
I can feel the calories going on as we speak. Suex
Edite
Sorry he died in 1566.
Slow down on the wine I think.

I'm hoping to visit the little place in Norfolk where I was born around 1500 on my way home. I know if I was going there from down south I would take the Norwich to Cromer road. Is there anyone here who could tell me how to get to that area from this area?
Think I'll go and have a lie down in the quiet room until this party livens up again.

Not sure about the breed to be honest - but much much smaller than my long legged greyhounds. They do leave a big gap in your life when they go. I've had 3 bitzas (you know bits of this, bits of that), 3 greyhounds I've adopted plus the old boy I'm fostering now.
Is FBG likely to bring her friend Daff with her? I haven't seen that name on the board for a while.
I have to keep editing. My typing skills seem to have all gone to hell in a handcart. Must be tired after the long journey!

Thanks for asking Tabitha. Male and female Woofs found it all a little overwhelming so I had to slip away to walk them and give them some food so I can enjoy what I can later.
Isn't it fun guessing? I'm having a little trouble with Cynthia's baronet though.
Jeanie x
Edit: Is FBG here yet? I understand she is a dog lover. Want to tell her about the two new ones I'm getting - Purkay and Urian (which I believe means devil's helper). As rumour has it I dabble in witchcraft seemed appropriate.

Happy Birthday Cynthia my friend, and many many more. Well I have had a good flight and am just waiting for the taxi to pick me up. The air stewardess,s were very helpful with unloading the food, a lot of the passengers on the plane kept saying they could smell strawberries, I didnt offer to share them though.I have brought extra cream as it seems to be in demand. Most of all I am looking forward to having some lovely Lamingtons, they really are my favourite, being diabetic I wouldnt dare make a batch as I know what I am like, I would eat the lot and that would make me ill. I am quite comfy in my one piece suit but removed my hombourg or pork pie hat on the flight. I am in a dancing mood so is there some big band music?Glen Miller would be good or even Harry Roy ( My fathers name) or James Last that should get the party going. Ah here comes my taxi now I hope the driver will help me load all these goodies. Byeeeeeeee see you all soon Evelyn

Hi Susan those spring rolls sound divine.
Regarding your clue the spelling? did you love to- be right or- to write? to be or not to be that is the question.
The boys all seem to be a bit slow maybe they all decided to meet in Robert's shell for a quiet drink before the party.
I know you will have a wonderful lunch with the family Cynthia. I am off to bed now nearly midnight here. need my beauty sleep for when the party really heats up.
will join you again around 6-7pm your time save me some food.
Will give you one further clue, among other things I was known as a charming and promiscuous socialite.
Finally you lot behave yourselves and don't drink to much.

Cynthia,
Very many Happy Returns of the day for your birthday. I know you will enjoy it very much and we shall all try to make it a memorable one for you.
Have made some of my smoked salmon and cream cheese specialties for munching before the barbie gets hot!
All a bit difficult in these clothes - long and billowing - have put on a red wig of beautiful long tresses and was once a very special favourite m*******. My name is associated with a juicy fruit, I bore two sons and the descendants of one of these are still living! Do you want any more clues?
I'll be along in a taxi shortly, if the driver doesn't take fright - if I spy Robert at the station I will bring him too. I want to tell him about some more new found Scottish relations. Isn't Frank and his OH having a baby shower this weekend for his grand daughter? Hope he can look in before that gets underway.
See you all soon - I'm sure Evelyn will be on her way now. I think I recognise her character but could be wrong! Not sure about the others, though.
Love and happy birthday.
