Oh dear - same story as the office - either too hot when its hot outside or too cold - poor old recirculating air does not know which way to turn
Raining again - started over night - well i am not stressed over work - must be the lack of cash causing it or Age - 2nd day when I woke up at 1am again - then only cat nap - at least i got to see Holby all the way through - be it a day later.
I watched the 1st episode of Torchwood on saturday morning - discovered its like a drug - very addictive - the more you see the more you want it to continue - can't wait for tonights episode. Its good to have something to look forward to.
I am working early on Saturday - they are still trying to get people to do OT - so may end up saying Double time - whihc I hope they do then i get double as well.
Its the office party on Friday night at the new Brighton football Stadium sponsored by our company - not my thing - which is why i got OT on saturday morning as most people with be too tiddly to come in the next day - which is why i hope they end up offering double. Can you all keep your fingers crossed for me.
Well not a lot happening in this neck of the woods
Nice to hear Sylvia is resting
Hope Recce is ok this week & over the weekend as its that time of the year
Waves & hugs to Evelyn & Robert ((((~~~~~~))))
Must dash as have to leave at 8:55 as off to Drs for a blood test & dash back - OH picking me up
Will try & pop in lunch time
Take care all <3 <3 <3

Sorry girls,
Nothing further on the grapevine about the jumper and the newspapers haven't mentioned it at all. You'll just have to wait for the next round of gossip mongers to appear. :-S :-D
We had a wet morning with a dryish afternoon at 17c and of course the bus home had it's airconditioning on full blast so we were all freezing. Last week when we managed a few days of 20c they had the heating on and these buses don't have any opening windows...... bleehh. :-S :-S

Thanks for the ending Anne. I have often heard of folks being brought home from hospital at ridiculous hours of the night. I suppose it has something to do with bed space etc.etc.
I think stress has something to do with your being poorly because stress can weaken the system apparently. Please try and get some rest because we don't want you to be ill...... <3
I've heard from Sylvia who seems to be having a good time. Her internet access is limited and she is looking forward to having a relaxing journey home on the train.
Right Frank......we've had the ending of Anne's story, now we wait to hear what your wife has reported back :-D
The weather can't make it's mind up at the moment but at least I have got my washing dry!
Love to all. Cx

Ok - so I am back to talking to myself again
Found out the story of the neighbour - a couple of years ago he had a double hip replacement - well he got up to go to bed the other night & there was a crack & his hip went. so they ahd to call and ambulance (early hours of the morning) - So he had a replacement fitted to replace the replacement that failed.
Goodness only know why they left it till after 10pm to bring him home - anyway he is off work for 3 months now - he is not at all happy about it.
Well not as exciting as we thought - but never mind.
We have a team meeting today approx 2 hours long & i can see it will be a battle as well. We are all holding out for a pay increase - but doubt if we will get it.
Will pop back in again later
Take care all <3 <3 <3

Well today its started out reasonably sunny - bit like a spring or autumn morning
It chucked it down yesterday just as i left the office & was on & off all evening - well we do need the rain
Half way through July & still only a hint of summer
My Seagull family are all flying now & don't see them as much anymore - they will have all left the nest soon - parents will probably be back next year. I will miss watching the young ones wabbling about on the roof & chasing each other. One of the parents is getting very brave (or hungry) shoved some bits out the window this morning & he/she was there before i could close it - my Oh reckons he would have taken my hand with it given a chance.
Well full day at work today & had a very bad night - so I will be yawning for most of the day & fall asleep during Holby again.
Cynthia - I think its a bug - my friend in the office thinks i am stressed internally - Well there is a lot going on & I am not one to rest - ususally if I do i come down with a worse bug.
Anyway - will try & look in - in my lunch hour
Take care all <3 <3

Hi all,
Well I'm afraid I don't have any further information on the jumper as yet.
My OH was watching TV in the bedroom when she heard some people shouting and assumed it was just a bunch of high spirited youngsters until she heard a scream. Came through to look out the window and the police were already there so something odd. You'll have to wait until the local gossips catch up (of whom my wife is one) ;-) :-P :-S
Had a busy day considering this is the start of the local holidays but I prefer that to sitting about playing Sudoku or waiting for a jury trial to start.
..........and it was dry today. :-P :-D

Hi Everyone
We had a lovely weekend away with the family down South ,we have had a few days of sunshine but as of tomorrow rain again .
Evelyn glad to hear your OH is coping Ok with his Chemo,it is more than likely he will be a Grumble Bum for a while ,I think my Sister in Law was very difficult to live with while going through it .
I feel for you both ...do what I do and just smile even if you don't feel like it ...I suspect it will help him too. Laughter can be great medicine
My sister in Law is doing fine at the moment and her hair is all back to normal with the exception of the length, that will take a while I think.
Time team is about to start so I will have to come back later.
Frank I hope your heighbour is OK,What would have made him jump out of a three story window.
Suex :-)

Poor you! What a miserable weekend for you both. Were you just overtired or was it a bug? Glad your communication system sorted itself out......as they used to say on the TV adverts....It's good to talk!
I guess we will have to wait to hear the end of your thrilling neighbour story ;-)
Pouring down here and the window cleaner has just cleaned my windows............sigh. I know he has a job to do but........ :-S
Off to an autism meeting shortly so had better get dressed!

Well well - i leave you lot for a couple of days & look whar happens
Lovely to see you Evelyn - glad mr grumpy is taking his medicine
Goodness only knows what Susan will do when she is back after reading all this.
Frank what happened to make him want to jump out of the window?
Cynthia - i have nothing to report - OH didn't see any of our neighbours all day on Friday - he is peeved - he will try & catch up with one of them during the week - if I find out anything I will repoert back.
Well as you know - I have been feeling a bit out of sorts since Wednesday - by Saturday I thought it was a lot better - wrong - got up Ok Saturday morning - we packed our bag for the weekend & took off for the record office in Canterbury. Had out usual little chef breakfast - OH a lot quieter than normal - I was just very tired. got to Canterbury - around 10am - very dodgy tummy - thought it would go away - it didn't.
Couldn't decide to tell OH or not or cancel weekend - thought he was Ok - so decided to grin & bear it & hope the ride to Essex was uneventful. Well things got a bit worse & all i wanted to do was go to sleep on the sofa - not make conversation. So we had an early dinner - made our excuses & went to the SiL. Lucky enough she was out babysitting - so we both flopped - thats when we both talked to each other - turns out Oh wanted to canx the weekend as well - but thought I would be dissapointed.
Talk about two stupid people - still we decided just to have an early night - Sunday i was no better - all I wanted to do was go home & be in my own little house & mope. OH went to speak to SiL who understood - so we scarpered - once home felt a bit better - & in work today sort of better.
We will have to make it up to the family on the next visit - we (the two of us) should get our act together.
We had loads of rain yesterday - it tipped it down from 2 - lucky enough we were home by 9:20 & we both had a good afternoon snooze - it was only the thunder that woke me up.
Very dull here today - & should have rain again this afternoon - I am leaving at 2:30 (in theory) lunch brak & then a couple of hours lieu time - we need to go shopping.
Well better go back to my worklist & emails - see what happened over the weekend.
Play nicely now children as Auntie is back on the thread :-):-p
Take care all :-D <3

Of course I got the philately joke Frank....my father was a keen stamp collector. I just decided to ignore...as is a woman's perogative!
Hi Evelyn, lovely to hear from you and hope the anti-sickness pills work for your Mr. Grumpy. Funny really, just before I read your note, I had just said to my OH - you've been sitting there long enough....time to get up and move around! Far too wet for him to go walkies but just trotting around the house helps to keep his muscles from seizing up too much. Oh, and yes, he did move!
Can't believe your granddaughter is one already Frank....my, my, time certainly flies. Teeth are a pain from beginning to end to be honest. Hope yours are soaking nicely!

or was it "Love Is All Around" ;-) ;-) :-D
I take it the the gardening, philately joke was too subtle. :-S :-P
Evelyn, Don't you worry about laying your woes out here as we are all here for you and send you and Ron our best wishes.
We had our Scottish grand daughter up for a visit as it was her first birthday but the wee soul is cutting teeth and was not in the best of form. :-S :-S :-S Why can't we just be born with teeth............appologies to all the breast feeders out there :-S :-P :-D
Pouring down again today with some thunder thrown in and this is our local fair fortnight holiday :-0 :-D

My Mr Grumpy had his first dose of Chemo on Thursday and it went well, so far no sickness but he has had an emormous amount of pills to make sure that he was not sick, he is not eating a great deal but is taking his food supplements so that helps. I am going to see if I can prise him out of his chair later and come for a short walk with me, cant see it happening as Golf is on T V, I can but try. If one has to have cancer Guernsey is a good place to be, the treatment is excellent, we are so lucky, we have a super hospital and wonderful staff. Enough of my woe, I hope you are all well, I often think of you all. Has anyone heard from Wayne lately? such a nice man. My love to you all Evelyn XX

Thought of you yesterday Frank - the BBC sports news mentioned that Johnny chap - I'd never heard of him before!
Nothing exciting to report - OH was a bit under the weather this morning so we haven't gone to church as we normally do. A long day stretches ahead!
