Hi, thanks Barbara, another possibilty, a remarriage. |

BarbaraFromYorkshire | Report | 8 May 2010 22:24 |
Sorry Maggie I meant Jane --the daughter of Jane and george--maybe the one who married Mr Hostler !! not a remarriage for Jane the mum. |

You are welcome, Maggie, but they are only "might be's" and "maybe's" they really do need cert to verify if they are correct or not!! |

Ok Maggie, I will keep checking back on your thread --so if you need anything else just let us know --I nearly put the 1861 census on for Jane Norwood but realised you may want to look that up yourself--- i can put it on if you like. |

Hi Barbara, thanks. I have found Jane Norwood back to 1861, parents John and Jane. Found a marriage for a Jane Brown and John Norwood Stepney 1855 1c 889. Do you have access to the transcript of that marriage at all and childrens baptisms? I have Ancestry but not access to the London records. I found children on the census, apart from Jane 1861, there is John 1856, William 1858, Robert 1864, Alfred 1869 and Charles 1872. |

Or maybe not, Maggie !!! Very unusual--the children don't seem to have been Baptised ?? How odd. i have searched without a date to make sure they weren't all baptised together--I'm getting nothing at all. |
