I hesitated to put this one up Mary as, although it's the most likely looking one, the date of birth doesn't quite fit the only Notts births. Mind you, we all know that the birth date is only as accurate as the person who registers the death. So, a possible for reference - |

LOL Mary - don't worry about it. It's easily done, especially when these families insist on giving their children the same first and second names as themselves :)) |

The young Elsie may very easily still be alive Mary - she was born in 1934. That second marriage isn't a second marriage, it's the first Elsie's daughter. |

p.s. There is a Vickers Street in Mapperlay Park Nottingham. Maybe it was near there. You could ask if anyone could do you a look up at the main Nottingham library, if you know what year they lived there. |

I just popped back and that Walter Kinder isn't your Alfred. I found Walters death in England. That Kinder/Corbishley/Curbishley connection is still shouting at me though :) |

Just something to mull over - may be something or nothing but I have to go and haven't got time to think about it at the mo. |

Tks Suzzanne but no I don't think that happened. I think I was originally on the right track with the 1946 Curbishley/James record. My bet is its an incorrect record for some reason and should be 'Jones' |
