I have just been sent copies of old family photo's by a recent new family contact and we are trying to get a lead on who the two people might be. I am told that on the back of the photographs it is stamped HUTT'S MIDGETS BIRMINGHAM & SMETHWICK. These photo's date from around the early 1900's and as our family is from Smethwick sounds like it could be one of our "greats". Anyone know anything of this photographic studio? Guessing the name came because the photograhs are very small and could even be pass port shots of the time as the photo's have just come back to me from Canada. |
