This might be a stupid answer but I remember when I first started I was unable to order a cert. The reason being I was trying to centre the details in the little box given. To centre you had to press space first then add the details. |

I ordered a new birth cert for my son recently. He was born 1971. I had to give both parents names |

GRO will not issue a certificate for anyone under 50 years. However some registry offices will if you apply directly to the one that the birth was registered |

I'm wondering, as the birth was less than 50 years old, would more information be needed to order the certificate? |
