Perhaps George Stubbings has cancelled his Ancestry sub. You cant reply to e mails unless you are a current member |

Christine there are a few people on Ancestry with Baldams in their tree - parents George and Catherine, and Emma Agnes Leah and Violet. One such person appears to be a George Stubbings, descended from Emma Agnes Leah. Does his name mean anything to you? |

I've just taken another look at the Baldam births, and I wondered the same thing about all the other names. I wondered whether George Pearson was actually George William or George William S. |

The Agnes Leah b 1898 is actually Emma Agnes Leah, Elizabeth 1909 is Rhoda Elizabeth, Violet 1900 is Violet Lavinia, so it looks like a family fond of middle names, perhaps Isabella had another name. I haven't found a birth for George Pearson Baldam in 1902. |

Sometimes, one child is not registered. Our ancestors made mistakes; sometimes they baptised some children and 'forgot' to get one done. |

I wonder if the Sedgefield marriage is correct? |

Ah, the marriage looks more likely, then. |
