Horatio Nelson not the Lord Nelson!!

When searching on Google, you can exclude search items - for example, entering "Horatio Nelson -Lord" will bring up all pages with Horatio Nelson, but which do not contain the word "Lord". Try excluding "Lord" and "Admiral" and see if that helps (I hope your Horatio wasn't an admiral!)

Hi Valerie, interested, my great great grandfather was Horatio Nelson Godfrey.

Anyway, you can type "Horatio Nelson" -Lord -Admiral in google UK seach box. It will come up without Lord or Admiral.

The LDS IGI index show seven Horatio Nelson's born or christened in 1806 and one Oratia Nelson.

Unless an ancestor is of some historial prominence, it's unlikely that Google would have any information on most people for that time period.

I have the same problem with William Thynne not marquis of Bath.

There are 50 Horatio Nelsons on the 1871 census.

Hi, I tried to google my 4x g granddad Horatio Nelson 1806, All I got was about Lord Horatio Nelson. So what can I do without having wrong Horatio pop up all pages.
He also got son and 3 grandkids with same name
