Was wondering where son William Kay was in 1871, should have been 7. There's a 7 year old William Howarth born Pendleton living with his father, William, 33, beer house keeper, as lodgers in Southport, Lancashire. |

I've had a think about this. Richard Cooper, who I know to have been born in Pendleton Salford in 1842 was single and living with his mother in the 1871 census. Ten years later: |

Would anyone be able to look at the details for Caroline Howarth in the 1871 census. She was born in Pendleton Salford in 1842 +/- and was living there in 1871. Was her address 297 Broad St, and was she a widow? |
