ooohhh erm so they were born davison adopted to shaw so therefore henry maureen and kathleen are just shaw not davison have i got that right now it is getting very interesting i cant thank you enough for all your help so far |

Karen, what it means is that the children were registered with a father's name of Shaw and the mothers maiden name was Davison. There does appear to be a marriage between these 2 people., |
