im not getting the Marriage Indexes 1837 – 1983
tab and Im not getting the England & Wales, Marriage Index: 1916-2005
either.
I have just returned to resaerching and everything has changed
I need to find a marriage in the 1920-40 indexs...any idea how I would do this. I am looking into an adoption and am on a hot lead....... frustration abounds at mo!

Kathleen,

It used to say:

Marriages
Marriages 1837 – 1915 (transcribed by FreeBMD)
Marriages 1984 - 2005 (transcribed)
Marriage Indexes 1837 – 1983

The last one is now missing.

If you click on Marriages 1984 - 2005 (transcribed) it should take you to England & Wales, Marriage Index: 1916-2005.

I get this now when I click on marriages:

England & Wales, Marriage Index: 1916-2005

This will make things SO much easier.

Not working yet though.

UPDATE: It's working now.
