I recently found out that Edinburgh University have an archive dept that keeps records of births at the Royal Maternity and Simpsons dating way back and through my mum's medical records was actually able to trace the age of her real mum and the fact that she had had three prior children. Now I have full details of my gran. Though this may be useful information if anybody is struggling but know that the birth took place in either of these hospitals. I would point out thought that data protection means that certain rules need to be adhered to. |
