william might not be a brother. Austin had a brother called William but I have his middle name as begining with O, this one is John. Just happens to be the correct age. I know that Astin is correct though |

The Ellis Island site has Austin Strickland, 27, carter and brother William Strickland, 18, carter arriving 22 June 1905, aboard the Teutonic. They were going to join uncle, Mr. Jones, 1678 Noshaud? Ave., Brooklyn. |

I am trying to locate two men who went to New York in June 1905. They were Austin Strickland and his bother William. Austin was born in Liverpool 1884 and William was about 2 years younger. They were headed for Brooklyn to an address I can't read. I do know that Austin was living at 853 Woodward Ave Brooklyn in June 1924 when his mother visited him. |
