My parents married on Christmas Day.I really cannot remember if I know the reason but they married in a Presbyterian church. |

Perhaps not in Scotland. Christmas Day was not a (public) holiday until about 60 years ago. |

I have a couple in my tree who married Christmas Day 1856 in a registry office. I'd love to know the explanation for that one. |
