I've been looking for information on my great grand mother for years now. The only concrete clue I have is her name on my Grandfathers (belated) birth certificate, he was born 1905 and it was issued 1951.
I have contacted the issuing authority and they claim to have no record!
My great grandmother was apparently born in Sweden and migrated to USA where she gave birth to my grandfather and his sister.
There are no records of marriage, no registration of either birth and no death registration relating to her either. It's as if she never existed!!
Any help would be much appreciated in this matter,
Kind regards,
Noel Matthews
