Usually a nickname for Margaret but sometimes stands on its own. My mother was called Peggy as a nickname and it had nothing to do with her real names. |

Has anyone any Peggys in their tree, I found one, and have been searching parish records for this name, but I am sure I have heard of it being short for Margaret. Am I right or could it be short for anything else. |
