I have managed to trace my paternal family tree back to 1714. William Bawn b. 1714 lived in the Gloucestershire area. Some years ago, an elderly relative told me that the Bawn family left Ireland at the time of the 'Battle or the Boyne' I do not have any further info but I would like to find out more. Has anyone any ideas how I might go about it? I would be grateful for any help. |
