You could try ordering the certificates but stipulate Father's name (as taken from his marriage certificate) as a checkpoint. I know this would still cost money and would be far from foolproof but at least it could narrow down the search a little. |

really depends what time of the year he was born /married/ died. he could have just had a birthday or be in between. or just coming up to a birthday. Plus of course the age reg on death is only as relevant as the informant thinks they know . |
