Was Joseph born 1851? or was that Edward born 1851?...sorry
Theres a Joseph Moy born Kempston Norfolk born 1815 and he ended up in Brighton!
Is there a typo on your question?
Trying to help..
Name: Joseph Moy Spouse: Elizabeth Birth: abt 1815 - Kempstone, Norfolk, England Residence: 1871 - Brighton, Brighton, Sussex, England =================
Belair
If Joseph Moy was born in 1815...Theres not alot more that can be found out about his Father Edward on Ancestry...except maybe his deth reg.
Have you got the marriage cert of Joseph and Elizabeth? That will at leaste tell you Edwards occupation...it might also tell you if Edward was still alive at the time of the Marriage...and if your REALLY lucky..the witnesses to the Marriage might give some clues....

The only Alfred Bacon born Wedgwood was Alfred P Bacon and he married Sarah:
Marriages Sep 1891 Bacon Alfred Pearce Cardiff 11a 504 Thompson Sarah Ellen Cardiff 11a 504
Where do you see he married an Ellen? Sarah is listed in 1901.

Susan,
I've checked the full indexes for a marriage 1918-1920 but no luck and the images are taking a long time to load.
I will check more later. Do you know if Francis was in WW1 as I have found some details for one born 1896 and living in Morchard Bishop, Devon, occ in 1916 was a newsagent.
I wonder if they didn't get married until after the first child was born if he was in the war.

Portland Rose. Thankyou so much, you are brilliant. Yes that is the correct marriage, Sarah Ellen-- the family only spoke of her as Ellen. They emigrated to Canada, at some time and settled in Toronto. I believe they adopted a girl and called her Elle she married a fellow called Harold( no surname found) there the trail runs dry. Did you see them in the 1901 cencus? could you possibly give me an address? Would be very grateful. Regards, Muriel

I dont black list anyone darlin. Thats the idea of creating this thread :-))
It's a place where all members are invited to either ask for help...or...give help.
I love trying to help people (if I can) how ever many times they ask for it.
This is my hobby and i love it!
I get the same buzz when somethings found for someone else...the same as i do when it's one of my own :-))
BRING IT ON!....lol
Any more requests anyone?....Gerri x...and other looker uppers.
