my homewoods don't appear to be on any census pre 1901 ..

im sure im putting in all the relevant info but keeps saying no results on every family member

Could you post the 1901 information that you have.

The title of that website suggests it's only the 1901 census. Are you trying to access other censuses there?

it has the censuses that are available through gr ... (all except 1881 )

i'm sure they didnt just appear on earth in 1901 but i dont know why i cant find them

I presume you are buying credits for GR and trying to find them that way.
It is the most expensive way of doing your research, Ancestry or Findmypast are much better value.

The 1881 is free on familysearch.

DON'T buy any more GR units......they're not worth it.

Ask for help on the boards until you get round to subscribing to either Ancestry or findmypast

Both are much, much better value than GR.................

If you go to the site I suggested FreeBMD and click on the red search box half way down then click marriages enter George Homewood and Alice in spouse first name and approx years it will bring up the marriage of George, click on the number 853 and it then shows the other name.
