Hi Jane, sorry about that, a typing error. the year was 1953 when Bertha actually died. and yes, she was still called Nunn... Thanks for your kind help Jane.. John |

Ok, I have now found her aged 59 when she died in 1953. As you have said there are no births for a Bertha Elizabeth Walsh for the correct period but perhaps she was just registered Bertha. Possible death for Edward |

Hi Jane, the news about Edwards death was a tremendous help (sounds a bit morbid !!), and I really do appreciate what you have done, infact I'm over the moon, but as you say I will need the 1911 census. As for Spendmore Lane, nothing I'm afraid on that. But Holdings Cottages is the correct one. |
