Wondering if the first name has been entered correctly on the birth registers because there are no instances of the name phailja on Ancestry or Google. |

Have you tried looking to see if anything is in a local paper around that time? As it appears to be a strange story I feel sure it would have been reported in the papers. |

There is a well known scam which features finding the identity of a child which has died, and setting up a false identity in that name, in order to facilitate a benefits fraud. |
