There is a Thomas A Brewerton in Birkdale listed as a visitor, born in Padiham and a family Thomas and Caroline Brewerton living in Padiham so I wonder does this rule that one out. Selina 1891 |

He Moved to Tadcaster nobody knows anything about his history they had a vauge idea he was from Bradford but died young so that is a Tadcaster address |

Oh just a thought Rowena what address did Thomas have on his marriage cert. Is it near to where the the Grandmother and family where in 1901. Long shot but maybe they didn't move. |

Well I have looked at the births from 1920 -1925 and can't find one for mother Swain strange they only had the one child though not impossible |

Same here Potty oh I wish the 1911 was out at least then we could see where William was living if he wasn't around but Thomas was then it would verify our theory. |

I don't think they checked any of the information given when men signed up for WW1. If they had, many of the underaged boys who signed up and were killed wouldn't have been. |
