I have googled it and it's not come up but Mertsham has. Is it the same place. I have found a family name with this place for mid 1600's and looking to see if relevant or not. |

East Sheen/Mortlake area. I have hit a brick wall with the name Stanford pre 1767. So using logic (haha) thought I'd look around Surrey to see if other places where there are some of the family name were nearby. Wandsworth is looking possible. |
