Thanks to everyone for the help you've given me with my search for Austin Smith, master mariner. I have searched and searched (as have you), but today I was just idly looking and I think I have found him! This chap is a dock labourer aged 20 living in Liverpool but born in Ireland. Now I need to get to grips with Irish births/census. |
