my fathers name is Peter James Wilde, he was brought up in a childrens home in the Portsmouth area he is 59. He had a brother he grew up with called Brian Wilde who died at 50. He has never been able to trace his other brothers and sisters and parents the information i have is as follows; dad Alfred Leo Wilde born 1917 woolwich, mum lillian margaret sexton. married sylvia lilian eleanor honey in 1947 birkenhead brother; gerald also possibly david (b1955)and antonio(b1958) sisters; shirley, sylvia, dianna think their mum was sylvia lillian honey. Any help would be fantastic there must be loads of family out there my dad would love to find. He knows nothing about his parents except their name.

Alfred Leo Wilde is my grandfather and my mum is his daughter, alot of your information matches what I know about him. My mum has met Sylvia and Shirley which are her half sisters but not currently in contact with either of them.

Are you hoping to contact living relatives, or are you more interested in ancestors?

If you mean you want to contact Susan specifically, you can't contact her through GR.
Unless we can figure out who her dad married, and therefore when she was born, and then maybe trace her marriage (if any), and then perhaps find her address on an Electoral Roll, there's really no way to find her.
There were lots of girls named Susan Wilde born around the possible year in which she may have been born.

There are lots of marriage records for men named Peter J Wilde - none in Portsmouth.
There are also lots of men named Peter J Wilde on various Electoral Rolls.

Peter and Brian were the only recorded offspring of the Wilde/Sexton relationship

Brian married and died in Manchester

The family history is very complicated as grandparents weren't honest and gave incorrect information. I'm trying to find living relatives.

There were 5 other children with the name Wilde, which I found.

Thank you, I've been wondering where the name sexton came into it but couldn't confirm it and now have her parents names.

As far as I'm aware Sylvia used multiple names and got married before getting divorced (bigamous marriage). I can't find her death record at all because of this.
