hi my name john im trying to find my birth mother my given name is mark westwood my mother lived in the wolverhampton area sud district wolverhampton west i was born on the 7 th of jan 1965 my birth mothers name is pauline and she was a battery solderer form mostyn street wolverhampton any help most appreciated

Adding to these very old posts is pointless - sorry

DNA is only of use if there is something with which to compare results.

Anyone doing a test with a genealogical company will have hundreds even thousands of results to compare.
In a case like this, if the official routes don’t work, a genealogical dna test may well lead one to a family relative.

Although has to be very careful with how one handles any information that arises from the tests. Better to go down the adoption register route first.
