Go to the very first post of this thread and by your name (in green) there are options to Edit, delete etc. Click on Edit and then go into the title and type there. Then submit as usual.

Due to the lockdown and now being furloughed as of this week I have decided to spend my time wisely and get back to the bug.

I had put this post up on here back in 2008 and received a massive amount of help from many wonderful people.
Reading back through the paperwork i'm still a little confused on one member of family.
I was given two options/listings for the name but still unaware after all this time which one may be mine.

I'm still trying to get my head around Helen Reilly.
I don't know which one is mine any help/advise I would be grateful for.

If you have a few credits left, you could try a search on Scotlands People for all donachie births at Row but use soundex

I have now viewed all of the cert on the previous page and all but two i can connect to a member of family in my tree so there is only two that will need further investigation. Shall continue with the detective work and see what comes of it.

I did a search on Scotlands People for all male donachie marriages at Row but I used soundex. John & Jane married 1885 & they've had 2 attempts at spelling his name

Have found another death cert for Nelly's sister Mary Donachie
died 03rd March 1898 5hrs am
@ 19 Maitland Street, Helensburgh
4 months old
father: John Donnachie
mother: Jane Donnachie mmn McArtney (i think)

So i am now wondering if these could be the same people in the census on the page before this one,
Still can not find a marriage for John and Jane

father: jonh donnachie
mother: jane donachie mmn Mcartney (i think cant make it out)

Well after spending some time researching the informantion that i had gained and contact with a cousin through GR i am now back on the boards again to continue with more findings (i hope).
Reading back through this thread i now reliese that there is more to be found, Claire from Wales & Reggie have helped alot and i am most greatful to them.
I am looking for information on the little girl on the top of this page called Helen Donachie who died 1895 age 10years i would like to find more info on her parents and any siblings she may of had.
