	Does Jane's maiden name look like McAllister? This looks very much like his christening. 	For Helen I would suggest that you go for her parent's marriage before trying to track her on the census. Hopefully she will have been born in the same county as they married.

	lol the result of being bitten by the treeing bug a couple of years ago! I found the christening on the IGI, there's a thread about it at the top of the Tips board. I will leave the rest of James' siblings for you to find but there's no hurry.
