I think there might be a bit of a problem here with 2 John Knights born the same year, 1 in Englefield and 1 in Clewer.
The one born Clewer was married to Harriet and is on the 51 census living in Clewer. I think this is the one that I found the birth for on BVRI with parents William & Hannah.
The 1 born Englefield married Mehab Harper and they're on the 51 census living in Tilehurst, Berkshire. (her name is mistranscribed Marah). I believe this is the John who was found on the 41 census with parents Thomas & Harriett.

they normal are a certen size when you view them. whether you made it larger or smaller when you sent them i do not know,
most of the images that i have been sent are 2840x1840 the one i got from you was only 600x 451

you can search any of the census by going to the list on the left on ancestery. census and voters list and just look for the census year that you are looking for if its not on view look at the see more

I'm the same, Val, I can't find the other John Knight on the 41 census, but I know there are 2 of them! They're both on the 51 census.

i have him on the 61 and up census dedworth green clewer 61/71 81 he was at 15 georges place also a hay binder on 61/71 census. trying to find him going down margaret

Have you got John Knights marriage cert
that would tell you who his father was then you could go from there.
Ive looked at all the 1841census
Sotland,wales,isle of man,england,channel island
there is no john with the right year.

the 1841 dont seem to state there wifes name.
