Find Ancestors

Hi sheila
Almost an impossible ask without full names of the Hindmarsh folks.
I looked on 1891 census for Andrew Hogg with Hindmarsh family and was not able to find one.Also for 1901.
There are also many Hindmarsh folks in Durham/N'land.
Looked for a Hogg/Hindmarsh marriage,but have not been able to trace one.
Who did Andrew Hogg marry,perhaps the Hindmarshes attended the wedding and perhaps were witnesses???

Sorry I cannot locate the Ward family on the 1901 census.
Do you have the birthplces for the children and have you got the full reference number for the 1891 census entry???

name is put down as Patrick Callaghan..Deceased.

Thanks for the death certs info. Yes I did realise my mistake I didn't notice the 1901 date and took it all to be 1891 census info I think I need to take more time reading before I reply in future or get some glasses. So sorry.

You should try Scotlandspeople site,much better than Ancestry for all things North of the Border.

Think you need to check your maths regarding age of John Snr when sons were born.In 1881 he was 37 and eldest was 10,which makes him 27 when first child born!!
English death cert shows name and age of deceased,address where death took place,cause of death,name of person reporting death.

Can you help me find Alexander Wood and wife Elizabeth French in 1851.They were married in Urquhart parish,Morayshire,Scotland in 1848.He was born 1815 in Elgin,Morayshire.i think they had their first child Anna in October 1851 in Urquhart but I can't find them in Urquhart in Freecen for 1851.
