Hi Natalie

I hope this is your Huetson family:

1861 2 Cow Yard,Holburn St Andrew,Middlesex
William John Huetson Head 47 Mail cart driver b St Giles,Middx
Ann R Huetson Wife 49 b Roehampton,Surrey
William J Huetson Son 21 Light porter b Marylebone
Joseph J Huetson Son 16 Errand boy b Bloomsbury
James H Huetson Son 14 Scholar b St Pancras
Edward Huetson Son 10 b Marylebone

1851 transcribed as Huitron(took a bit of finding)
6 Nottingham Mews,St Marylebone,Middx
William John Huetson Head 36 Gas fitter
Ann R Huetson Wife 39
William J Huetson Son 11
Joseph J Huetson Son 6
James H Huetson Son 4
Edward Huetson Son 2
All shown as born London,Middlesex

I think there is a mistake on the 1851 census with the age for Edward,I think it should be 2months not 2 years.There is a birth record on freebmd for;
Edward Huetson March Qtr 1851 Marylebone 1 282.

Hi Mary,
I was wondering if you could look up a Joseph Gilmore in the 1881 or 1891 census, born in the Liverpool area in 1880, his dad was Sam Gilmore born in the 1840's in Ireland. I would like to find out if Joe had any brothers or sisters. I know the family later moved back to Ireland and I'm trying to find out if they are ancestors of mine.
Thanks in advance
Graham

Hi Mary,
Ellen Elizabeth Stanger in IGI is born at Seaton, Rutland in 1838 with parents William Stanger and Sarah. Charles Thomas is born about 1841.
Please could you check the 1851 census to see if there are other children and the ages and places of birth for William and Sarah.

Many thanks,
Frances

So very sorry for not getting back to you Mary I do know how busy you are [ had to go around and look after my grandson and have only just got back].

Anyway Mary, thank you for helping me, John Joshua was a Cabinet Maker .
and yes i have found him after 1851 but when he was married with children.
On his M/C it said he was living at Essex St Bethnal Green, what I was wanting to know is, was he still living with his parents at this address?
His Father was called Thomas Norris and he to was a Cabinet Maker.

Thank you again Mary kind regards Ann.

Hi Mary

Please could you look on the Australian census for Frank Raymond Hopkins. Born in Wallaroo SA about 1894. He moved to Perth WA and was married to Florence Beatrice and then a lady called Jessie.

Thank you

Debbie

Hi Lozzy
A blanket search is when a birth marriage or death lookup is requested but the person asking for the lookup has no idea of when the event took place.
Applies particularly to death lookups eg can you look for death of my grandad sometime between 1896 and 1929 name John Smith don't know where he died.
These are very time consuming and hard on the eyes as you may have to search hundreds of records.
You can see why I will not do them.

If I can help with your research just get in touch
